I have to move from St Louis to North Carolina next month. Anybody know or have done business with a good car transporter? Had one bad experience before (damaged the car during shipment and again when off loading). Doesn't have to be a covered trailer as long as someone can recommend them. Thanks.
I WOULD RECOMMEND AAADVANTAGE.I RUN A CAR LOT IN SOUTHWEST FLORIDA AND HAVE USED THEM SEVERAL TIMES TO SHIP HIGH LINE CARS.THEY HAVENT MESSED ONE UP YET.THEIR PHONE # IS 800-635-3240
DIAL EXTENSION 117(STEVE).TELL HIM THAT SPECIALTY CARS OF SARASOTA REFERED YOU TO THEM.
Dengel,
I have used Passport Transport based in St. Louis on two different occasions. It is covered transportation(Big Green Rigs). I was very pleased both times.

I used Passport Transport as well to carry mine from California to Colorado. I was very happy with their service and they even delivered a day earlier than their original estimate. :D
Do you guys generally use covered transport, or is standard ok?
I had my car shipped via open carrier, with no dammage and that was from Timmins, Ontario (N-E Ontario) to Yellowknife Northwest Territories (North Western Canada, ~60 miles from Arctic Circle). My only complaint about the open carrier is that my car *must* have been on the top and facing backwards, 'cause the back end was FULL of bugs... Just a friendly caveat about open carriers...
