Default VanSteel rag joint

I have used VanSteel in the past with good results. Have read much on the problems with current rag joints from overseas. Has anyone used this
part and if so with what results?

Thanks

I just installed fr1734 in my 80 and hands down the best mod so far!
The rag joint didn't give me the instant response I was looking for.

Any issues installing? Did you move the box or the column?

Do you have the old joint out yet? Had to retract the column back to the driver's seat to remove and replace the rag joint on my '72.

Yes. I dropped the column down and moved it back to provide clearance for the fr1734.
WELL worth the time and money. I also have 18" rims on, night and day drive difference

Not yet. Soaking the bolts with Blaster while I research the coupler.
