Default VN327 Rally Wheels

I am getting closer to purchasing new wheels and tires for my 79 project. I have always liked chevy rally wheels, they are not the most flashy wheel, but just a tough look. I am leaning toward doing the American Racing VN327 with 18"x 12" in the rear and 18"x 10" in the front. I will probably just stay with the standard 4" backspacing. I do plan on purchasing L88 fender flares to cover them. So here are my questions, does anyone see any fitment issues with what I am leaning toward. Anyone recommend a vendor to purchase these from (I have a few online I am looking at). Finally what would be a good tire combination for this set up.

I am not sure they make either size with 4" BS. On the american racing website all sizes are listed as 0 offset, making the 12" 5.5" BS and the 10" wheel 4.5" BS

The website I was looking at said the 18x10 offers backspacing between 4.00-8.50 and the 18x12 is 4.00-10.50.

Hey guys not a lot of feedback on the wheels, but no biggie they seem pretty straight forward. So I have a follow up question, if I go with 12" wide in the rear and 10" in the front what type and size of tires would you recommend? Mostly just be a street cruiser, but maybe the occasional autocross just for fun.

Okay the more I read on wheels and tires the more confused I get. It seems like everyone has a slightly different set up. Someone commented on another forum that a 10" wide rim in the front with 4" backspacing would give me a lot of "scrub", follow every crack in the road etc. SO this is making me question if I want to go with anything larger than 8" in the front. Does anybody have pictures of a C3 running a wide rear 10-12" with stock 8" in the front? Would it look strange with the rear flared and not the front? Again looking at an 18" rim both front and rear. In a tubbed hot rod it looks good, but your tucking everything inside, but the extra width on this will all go outward. I'm not really going for a pro-street look anyway, I just like the wide low stance pro-touring look. Thanks guys, sorry for the stupid questions.
