Your best deals will probably not be on the net. There is a 69 vert at http://www.redlineautosports.com/inven.html .

I spent over a year looking for the car I wanted at a resonable price. Couldn't find anything decent that wasn't way overpriced. Finally decided to buy a project car & build it the way I wanted.

I see where one of our forum members is selling an immaculate 73, for a cheap price. What is wrong with that???

Even though I own a '72, I find the look of the '73 far more complete.

Took me 1-1/2 years to find mine. Found it through the internet. I knew what I wanted I did not change my spec's. Probably overpaid but I got a car that had the mechanicals rebuilt; engine, trans suspension, AC, etc and the visual stuff; paint, interior, etc, replaced. Still soom minor work had to be done.

Just be patience and get what you want. Then minor repairs/upgrades will give you something to due and you can still enjoy driving the car.

Rick,
I saw a steel bumper (Don’t know what year) parked here in Murfreesboro with a for sale sign in it. I will see what I can do about finding out more.

BTW Murfreesboro Hot Rod Club has “Cruise in” car show every Friday night behind Sears in the Stones River Mall (exit 78 off I-24). If the weather is good (Like it’s supposed to be tonight) there are usually a 100 or more cars. It’s about an hour drive for you, check it out. It starts at 6PM is usually full around 7, 7:30 and ends at 9PM. Might be a good place for you to meet some local contacts.

Dave

I know you don`t want to hear this but Corvette Expo is coming up in couple of months if you still haven`t found what you are looking for. There are always a few for sale there. :jester

Check out the Knoxville News Sentinel today. There is a 1971 4 speed with air, all original and numbers match the ad says.

Go tp Carlisle or Bloomington.
Corvette Country here in Austin has a gorgeous 71 conv for sale. I knew the owner and it has been very well cared for.

VettePower,
I did not see a price on the '73 listed. I am never interested if they do not post a price.

Do you know how much he is asking.
