bent header
But upon backing the car into garage somehow over the winter I lost some ground clearance going into garage and dented the passenger header pretty bad, I knew I had a slight exhaust leak so Figured what better time to fix it while I wait on brake parts.
I replaced collector gasket 3 times
1st time single Mr. Gasket paper
2nd time double Mr. Gasket paper
3rd time aluminum Mr.gasket
Sealed up Now
Header flange gasket on my second attempt
First time used a double header gasket and exhaust manifold doubled up.. (has worked before for me)
Now Used single Mr. gasket
Things Ive tried thought maybe I had light valve chatter.
Adjusted to 3/4 of a turn past zero lash/stop ticking engine hot.
Used mechanical stethoscope no noise in valve train, nothing at timing cover, no noise at fuel pump, no noise in lower end, no noise at starter, no noise at flywheel
Here is two videos attached in the second video you can see the header damage.

Now my question is could this be a actual valve seat making noise, I used the stethoscope on the actual header pipe and there is a definite difference in bent header and non bent header or just a exhaust leak going to drive me nuts

I grabbed my trusty sawsall and cut the flange to let it independently tightened down to each cylinder.
Now this did help slight leak still there, but I sprayed water where the pipes actually go into the flange and it sucked the water into the header while running. So I know this is exhaust related so I'm a bit relieved.
Now I either pull the header off and see if a shop can maybe cut and reweld the flanges or order a new set.
Ideas?
