Any idea whats it worth?
Just got an origian radio from a 68 in trade for some work I did. I'm not sure if it works, but its clean with no rust and has the original *****. Any one have an idea what this might be worth? :confused: I might be getting the shifter plate also. 4 speed non AC. Worth on that? Thanks!

I met a guy at a restoration shop and he had his 68 up on the lift touching up the undercarrage. This was a frame off restored car and he told me one of the very hard to find parts he had just gotten were the orginal radio *****. He told me he paid $250.00 for each one..:eek:..so if the ***** are worth $500, god only knows what the radio might be worth if it's different from other C3 radios. Evidently the ***** were a 68 only item.

Check E Bay and do a search for Corvette radios. Also, do a search in the NCRS Driveline magazine. Lots of radios and parts for them. I can't imagine it is extremely expensive unless it is a one year only item, say for a 68 or something.

'68 to '76 radios are interchangable. '77 & up took the standard "radio" applicable across all GM model lines. Also, if someone else will pay $500 for my '68 radio *****, they can have them. I'll buy the repro's for $48 :lol:
