Default 10.5" or 11" clutch?

Which size clutch would you recommend? Ram Powergrip HD in 10.5" or 11"?

468 Big Block with 600HP.
Mostly fun street driving with maybe 1 trip a year to the drag strip.

I was told a 10.5 would be better because it would rev faster??

Go with 11'', less slip potential.

11" and there was a lot of talk about the Ram Powergrip HD chattering at slow speeds.

I went with the Mcleod Super Street Pro but it's not installed yet.

Definitely the 11". But if it's a true 600hp big block, I'd be looking at a twin disc.

You can use what you want, but the L-88 cars use the 10,4 and a 13 pound flywheel......the only clutch size recommended for them.......but the heavier 11 in does fit all BB

Anybody know the details on the L88 clutch? I can see the lighter clutch for road racing. Did it hold up on the drag strip?

back in the day when i was a yute my buddy ran a 11" shafer clutch with aluminum Flywheel and lakewood scattershield on his 427
The thing spun up very fast to 8K
11" i would think offers more surface contact area that was 1970 so i imagine new technology has improved things

I'm running a Hays 11" with steel flywheel on my 454, no issues
