Default HID conversion?

I am looking into a way to convert my stock flip-ups to a modern HID kit (preferably done correctly with projectors). I can't seem to find any places that sell kits. Does one exist or is this a custom job I will be tackling?

Major surgery required to get a projector to fit in the headlight housing... Well worth the effort though! Youre welcome to stop by to see whats required to get them in there. And Im also a dealer for TheRetrofitSource if you were going to buy the parts and do it yourself. Im in Middletown

To each his own and I respect that the decision is ultimately yours to make, but may I suggest a link to which I often refer when I have lighting questions? It is called Daniel Stern Lighting.
I have read much of his material and he seems to truly know his stuff.
Here's a link if interested:

Sorry, to repeat as I see someone beat me to it.

HID bulbs in the proper housing (a quality projector) will always outperform standard halogen lights in output and more importantly, light control.

i wouldn't be too sure of that. i don't have standard bulbs and the wiring upgrade makes a big difference. I've had H.I.D lights and they weren't near what i have now.

I just did a TRUE conversion on my Grand Prix:

theretrofitsource.com

They sell projectors that fit in the OEM housing…call them. The lights are awesome….

That picture looks fantastic vette427sbc. I'm not afraid to cut things up seeing as pretty much my whole car has been cut up already for racing. When this snow clears I would love to swing by!

jb78L-82....Thanks! I will get in touch with them and see what they can do for me
