transmission filter
hi everyone, i just took down the pan on my 81 to change the trans fluid and filter and the filter that's in the car is different than the 1 i ordered, i got the new 1 through rockauto as an acdelco part, the trans gasket is the right one which came in the same box as the filter just wondering if anyone knows if this is a updated filter or if i have the wrong 1 please help thanks

If the gasket is ok, then compare the two filters and see if the pipe and overall shape looks similar. As said maybe go to an autostore and look.
