I installed a new starter, and new battery. Starter worked great when the motor was on the Dyno. Now in the car, it seems that not enough juice is getting through to get the starter gear to engage the flywheel. If I line the teeth up, it works. If I put my battery charger in "jump" mode, 55 amps, it will work correctly once or twice. Cleaned battery ground to chassis. Have two grounds from motor to chassis. Ran a newer cable from battery positive, to the starter. No change. Could it be an ignition switch issue?
It could be your switch or a bulkhead connector from the engine compartment to inside the car to the switch. To test the starter and bypass the switch and wiring, use a remote starter switch. It's the same switch setup that was used to start your engine while it was on the dyno. Jerry

Thanks for the ideas. This 73 has been one challenge after another.
