Anyone know if theres a way to relocate your altinator or make it work with double hump heads being they don't have the holes where the altinator would normally go? Found brackets for a long water pump but vettes carry the short one :/. Any ideas? Can you run a long pump? Do they make a bracket kit for a short water pump to run with heads without the accessorie holes? Any help.is appreciated. Thanks
The 186/492 casting Camel hump heads have tapped holes, the earlier stuff doesn't. The solution is a bracket made for headers that bolts around the #1 exhaust port or converting to C2 style passenger side alternator mount.

Do you run headers? You can run a Header Power Bracket. There are both left and right brackets that use the #1/#2 or #1/#3 bolt holes.

You can also try looking for brackets for a 1967 Camaro with a 327. That car had the driver's side alternator, short water pump, and double hump heads...
I'd bet those brackets would be just what you need...
it is a great question, too--Eventually, when I rebuild my motor, I will be using a pair of double humps I have on the shelf right now...
I've done this with the pass. side factory brackets. "Hood" style upper bracket and use two lower "Triangle" brackets instead of one and a nut and bolt to replace the long thru bolt that goes into the head.
Didn't throw any belts on our circle-t car. (Hope I didn't leave anything out - been 17 yrs )
