key hole by stingray logo?

hey guys. can someone tell me what it is. i just got one today and i am very perplexed as to what it's use is. thanks.

I believe you must be referring to the alarm system.

If you give more details we can tell for sure.

When I was a kid and I saw that keyhole, I always thought "Wow, that engine is so cool and valuable, you've gotta have a key to even look at it ...."

The key hole for the alarm on my 73 is on the rear panel just above the C-O-R-V-E-T-T-E emblem.

Makes it look like I have a trunk. :lol: :lol:
