Help! No spark...
Had a short in wiring to ignition modulator. Replaced and engine still won't start up (tries, but no spark)?? Hoping I do not have to get into tracing wiring. Any ideas? Thanks! 350 1982 corvette

Disconnect the TACH wire from the distributor. Connect a 12v testlight between the TACH terminal on the distributor and a good ground. Crank the engine. If the testlight blinks when you crank, the pickup coil and module are good. If no blink, then either the module or pickup coil have failed.
