I have been struggling with this decision for about a year now and the time has come to pull the trigger but I am still on the fence.... The car is a weekend driver and may seem some limited track time. I need a quality speed rated tire but choices are limited in the 15" sizes. I have found some decent Nitto's, NT-555 in the rear diameter I am looking for in a 17" wheel, but really like the looks of the 15" wheels. I have also considered 15" race radials by RH and MT for the rear. I need something that can get the power to the ground and still be a decent street tire on dry days but still get me home alive if it should rain.

Hi KJL, I thought I would reply to your thread since no one else seems to want to help!
Currently I am running BFG g-Force T/A KDW 2 on 18 inch rims. I think if you really want a true high performance tire you are going to be looking at 17 inch or 18 inch tires as the tires available for 15 inch rims are almost non-existent.
I believe BFG has stopped making the g-Force T/A KDW 2 but they have come out with a replacement called the g-Force Rival and Rival 2. Have a look at them I think they might suit your needs, pretty aggressive performance tire in my opinion. Hope that helps.
I will look into that. I would like to stick with 17s. I also want a 27+ diameter. I am not sure what the car puts to the ground yet. Have to install the engine. Those are engine dyno numbers.
