Gasoline Fumes
So I'm done installing my TPI set-up in my 80 Vette. Computer, stand alone harness, required sensors, in tank fuel pump, cam & lifters, etc. I can crank all day but nothing happens. But that isn't my issue here. When I go into my shop it reeks of GASOLINE ! like I spilled a couple gallons on the floor. I've looked everywhere for leaks. The floor is dry, the intake is dry. Where could the fumes be coming from...Ideas ?

IMHO, call the techline for the manufacturer of the TPI. They should be able to give you some clues on where to look. As far as the no-start, spray some starting fluid into the engine and try to start it. If it fires, it's a fuel issue. If it doesn't, it's a spark problem (no spark or bad timing).
