It's alaska raceway park now. It's fun and scenic. How long ago you live up here?

Moved away in '96, I still have family in the valley and Kenai / Homer area. I worked on the slope for many years, now I enjoy the shorter winters, thinking of moving further south when retirement time comes.

60 foot times were 2.09 2.10 2.11 . Been away at work for a few weeks, definatly the first thing im doing when home...besides having a beer, is figure out the rear gears, I guess do the spinning of the tire/loop thing. I was in 2nd gear at the end for the 1/4 at about 6200-6300 rpm's. guessing I could change the gears 3.73's or 4.11's and use 3rd gear on the track. And if indeed 3.08's... out they come, Any idea what shops usually charge for the swap?

It ends in early September. The last test and tune last year there was maybe 30 vehicles. Only one drag strip in palmer, opens in late April. I'd love to run in early February or in November For colder air.

I love it...

About 20 years ago was a street day at the track I had the 66 there 4 speed, bluppy 327 60 tires in rear modded car of course,

I ran a 14 something then low 15 , a gear head buddy who ran a mustang and was always at the strip was trying to give me drag hero tips I told him go ahead take my car see what you do in it,

He runs a low 13....yeah, I sucked at the 1320 that badly......
