Default Advice needed: Carb air cleaner stud stripped

Here's the problem - the air cleaner stud has stripped most of the threads out of the carb (QJet) so that the stud no longer grips in the carb. Any ideas on how to repair this, other than a new carb body? Thanks.

If you still have some treads left try thread lock and let set.
Or I would try some crazy type glue and let set up good.
You don't need much pressure on hold down nut just snug.
This is what I would try .

LocTite makes some thread repair stuff that you mix up and put int the stripped out hole. Then you screw in the bolt or screw to thred it it, unscrew and when set up it is suppposed to be repaired. I haven't tried it but you might check it out. All the normal parts houses have it. Good Luck.

I've used JB Weld on a bunch of stuff. I'd give it a try.
