Looking for ideas on how to reduce insurance payment. Can you save through some of these specialty companies for classics/antiques/vettes and still get good coverage? I do not use mine as a daily driver any more, reduced miles driven per year by thousands-still think I'm paying a little high for my usage.
Thanks,
Bill
Though I think they do have milage restrictions, at least of a sort. I was told by the agent I spoke to when I first applied that if you told them you would drive it more than 3K for pleasure, you would be turned down.
I have mine through Great American - Classic Collectors Insurance. I only pay $165/yr. There are of course restrictions.........must be garaged, milage limit of 3000 miles/yr (but for another $25 I can raise that to 5000), to be used for pleasure driving only - not to work / errands etc. I don't drive mine to work but the way I see it - ANYTIME I drive my vette is pleasurable!!!!!!!!!
