I have inherited a 1973 stingray and need to get tires for it. The tires on it now are P245/60/R15. I think they are the original tires. I need to replace them so that i can get it loaded and ready to restore. Any help is appreciated.
P225-70R/15 is the closest size to the original tires that came from the factory. I have Goodrich T/A 's on miy 73 and am happy with the performance and look.

Thanks for the info, i will look into the website to look at the tires. Bashcraft, 2 will hold air, 1 won't and the other is shredded completly. I don't mind buying them now, I will need them eventually any way.

If it were me, I'd find some old used tires to put on it and buy new ones when I'm ready to drive it.
