Brakes.
Had a problem with pulling to the left when braking with C3 1981. The harder you braked the harder it pulled. Was thinking must be a caliper or pads. Well the problem turned out to be the rubber hose on the right front caliper. Replaced the hose problem gone. Going to replace the left hose as well.

Take a walk on the safe side and replace all 4... Easy, fairly cheap fix that can really make a world of difference and many times the hoses look to be in good condition on the exterior, but the insides deteriorate and lead people to believe the issue is much greater than it is. Safety First!
