Default Sidepipe conversion question

After conversion to sidepipes, what did you do about the lower rear valence panel? Just leave the cutouts empty?

I've seen that Ecklers and others sell new rear panels that have the "ears" to fill in the cutout area. Anyone have pics of how these look installed on a '68/9?

Thanks.

I reinstalled my exhaust tips like a dummy exhaust. At least it doesn't look empty there.

They should be filled.

BUT the filler panels are WRONG,there should be a straight verticle seam between the valance panel and he fender, not the uguly curved one.
( but the curved one does make it so you don't have to paint the car again!)
