Pulled the air horn off. Lots of trash in the bottom of the float chambers. Changed the intake filter. Cleaned all the jets/needles with cleaner and wires. One of the very small tubes seemed partially blocked, that may be the stumbling issue at high throttle settings.
Question. What is the trick to getting the air horn back on? The forward metering rods want to pop up, the accel pump wants to spring out, etc. How do you keep these down and in place so the secondaries and choke arm can be lowered into place. 82 Qjet, electric choke
Stake the fiber washer that is on the power piston in order to hold the primary rods in place. Use a slot screw driver to hold the accelerator pump in place as you seat the top plate.
