Default Elec. Fuel Pump and Regulator

Those of you who have installed electric fuel pumps, where did you mount the regulator? I have the electric fuel pump mounted already, and it looks like the best place to mount the regulator is on the frame rail where the fuel lines are, but it seems pretty close to the headers.
Holley recommends that you mount the regulator as close to the carb. as possible, but I really don't see anywhere else that is open and away from heat.
Any suggestions are welcome.
Thanks in advance. :smash:

I have always heard that you want the regulator as close to the carb as possible.
I made a small aluminum bracket on the front of the engine to mount the regulator to.
I can send you a pic if needed.

Great!!! Thanks Jim.

That is what I needed. This looked like a good place, but needed to figure something out to mount it there.
Did you just use a piece of aluminum or something? Just drilled holes to mount to the head and then mounted the regulator bracket to that?

Looks great! That is one clean engine.
