I used a Summit-1103 cam and lifter set in a 1981 Stock engine and also changed the Dist. and Carb. Got rid of the Computer. This cam has a nice lope to it and is very streetable. Good Luck.

When changing out cam/lifters you really need to put in new springs.Even a slightly more aggressive cam w/stock worn springs can cause problems.Valve float?Springs are cheep!
I used an Isky 264 mega cam in my 76 L 82 w/ T400- 214-214 450 lift on a 108 lsa for lots of low and mid range power in a low compression 350. I broke the cam in with my old springs and later replaced with some new oem springs. Had a nice throaty idle with mild lope. Old school cam and quality Isky product.
Great choice for a mild cam.
