Default C3 header recs

Hey all,
Can anyone recommend a decent set of headers for my 77 L48? Not really looking to spend an arm and a leg, but just something that just performs well.

Thanks for your input!

Hookers are a safe bet, good "bang for the buck" .Stahls are nice, but kinda expensive.Ceracoated headers are to recommend, keep the cabin heat down a bit.
You could buy a used pair of headers for not much money at all.

Dynomax coated headers seem to be very popular and pretty inexpensive for caoted headers, $215 from Summit but you might find them a little cheaper elsewhere. I have a set to put on in the very near future.

Hooker I can say from previous experience are top quality, ceramic coat really make a difference with heat build up. I don't know the current price for "inframe" Hookers, I just bought a set of ceramic side exit Hookers for $570 shipping included.

Hedman are good and that is normally what Chevy High Performance uses on their crate motor build up lately.

Cost around $100.00 that's what I'm running, however if you have the extra money I would go with the dynomax coated ones mentioned earlier.

Dynomax Ceramacoats ($215.00 at Jegs) are the COOOOOOOOOLEST, in more ways than one. My cabin heat went down as a bonus, while HP and bottom end TQ increased as well..........
