Chevy HI Performance 454 build up Article
Well this issue of CHP started to examine the GM crate 454 HO engine. Looks like with headers the engine is making some good torque and hp right out of the box.
Looks like over the next few issue they will be doing some tweaking and it might be a nice cheap way get a power plant under the hood. :D

I loved what they have been doing with the 383 build up. Hopefully this will be just as informative too.
