BAD-L88,
On topic of fuel I remember when leaded regular was 23.9 cent a gallon, right next to that pump was the Ethyl for 24.9 a gallon.

It always bugged me when they removed lead, they charged more?

Go figure.

Your power looks great! It is certainly dialed in. I am a big fan of the 427 engine. Those motors are battle tough .

Yeh, it was a great confirmation as to what kind of power the L88's made. I rember reading long ago in the How To Hot Rod Your BB book about an 454 LS6 making only 380 horsepower with factory cast iron exhaust manifolds but that with open headers is made its advertised 450 horse power. Jay's L88 did 20 horsepower better than that AT THE WHEELS!

Jay really deserves to be commended for an outstanding job of faithful restoration. He has taken no small amount of heat from many that still don't believe his car is stock. Envy is a hard pill to swallow!

Bad L88, I was wondering if you video recorded the dyno pulls because I would love see them. Also what was the peak torque figure? Thanks, Steve
