I'm wondering if I have a fuel pick up problem. If you are at about a quarter tank of fuel and you accelarate hard or take a hard corner, does this cause your car to stumble(like it's starved for fuel)??? This happens to me quite a bit and I DON"T like it! Any ideas ????
You need a new fuel pump, yours is a little weak.
when the tank has more fuel it has more elevation, whitch meens the fuel pump has to do less work. low fuel = more work.
BTW, since the pump is emersed in the fuel, the pump uses the fuel for cooling and lubrication. If you keep your tank full the pump will last much longer.
Even if your pump is new, running it very low on fuel even once may cause damage.
