hitting the track saturday

me and my cousin are hitting the drag strip tomorrow to see what the rats will do. my new 454 in my vette and his mark jones 496 in his chevelle. neither of us been to a track with current combo it should be fun hopefully no broken stuff. its just 1/8 mile track.

had a fun day and no broken cars!!!the vette ran a best 8.0@92 the chevelle ran a best of 7.7@93 there is more in both cars but will have to wait for another day!!

92 is pretty good mph in the 1/8 mile. See the timeslip below - right lane - in good air my car goes 88 in the 1/8 mile, with 7.75 ET. With traction and maybe better gearing you could run well into the 11s in the quarter.
