Default L-46 hp upgrade

Hi I have a 1974 Corvette whit the base 350 and I would like to keep de same block whit out oversise and get 420hp firts is it possible and how can i achive this.

A 6-71 blower will get you there in a hurry.

At a minimum you will need to change the heads (to up the compression and for bigger valves, better flow), change the cam and intake manifold (to compliment the heads) and install headers.

So you expect to make 420 hp with the 40 year old, cast pistons in your engine now? Don't expect it to last too long.

First post. Welcome. A minor correction. The base engine in your case is the L-48. The L-46 was gone after 1970.

To get 420 HP reliably out of a base l-48 you are going to need to bore and stroke it to a 383. Complete overhaul to do this.
Different everything except the block, oil pump, distributor maybe, HEI would be better, and a carb of around 700 CFM or better, probably 750 CFM, if it has the q-jet that would suffice.
Trying to get 420 HP with stock components is only a recipe for a blown up engine.
