How hot can a master clyinder get?
How hot can the master clyinder get before it fails?
My headers are baking the master clyinder I think and causing it to fail.
It's too hot to touch, not 500 degrees or anything, but maybe 200 250!
I'm thinking it may be the cause of my soft brake pedal...

It can get hot enough to boil the brake fluid. I am not sure how hot that is. But unless the headers are within three or four inches, it should not affect it. I would be more concerned with any brake lines that are within 6 inches of the headers. I fashioned a heat shield from a piece of sheet metal to go between the headers and the brake lines. Make sure to keep atleast a 1/2 inch of clearance between the sheet metal and the brake lines for proper heat disipation. I hope that this helps. You would be surpised by what a piece of sheet metal could do to keep the heat away.
