I am looking to purchase a second set of Rally wheels. Tire size on my 1977 is: P225 / 70 / R15. I have not changed tires yet to measure so my question is. What is the correct bead seat 8" or 7" for the Rally wheel?

Also, any recommendations on where to purchase?
Thanks
1968 rally wheel was 7" X 15". Beginning in 1969, the "AZ" wheel went to 8" X 15". To be certain you have the 8" wheel, look for a broadcast code near the valve stem. It should have alpha numeric coding that denotes its AZ (8"wide) size along with mfg plant ID and date coding.
Try the Parts For Sale section here on the forum. Be aware some of the reproduction rally wheels are foreign made. You should have no problems finding good, used, correct AZ coded Corvette wheels. If correct dates are important to you, keep shopping until you find a set in the date range you want.
I'm riding around with the same tire set up.
BF Goodrich RWL 225/70/15R.
7" rims in the front, 8" rims in the rear.
Why, cause somebody set it up that way in the 80's.
Tire wear has been normal.
Mine is a '68.
Previous owner may have been worried about rubbing the frame up front when in a full lock turn years ago?
I have no problems.
8" rims much easier to find.
