Default Remapping eprom 2732 and 27c32

Good morning
Im Tullio Candidori From Italy
I have the 1982 Corvette cross fire and I have some problem with injction, the fuel mixture is too rich, the engine idling turns off, I also put both news idle sensor.

I only made small modifications to the engine:

Removed the original fan clutch, put eletric cooling fan
Put the Hi-Performance Hei Distributor
Hypertech power chip
Patc Performance Converter(Super Street Raptor) and Patc Pump (with 500 valve & 13 vanes )
Hooker header and side pipe than I removed the catalytic conveter

After to improve performance, I bought the eprom empty, which can be mapped several times and we given to the eprom several power steps.
We found that the EPROM positioning on the ECM basis had to be (And we never understood why) on the contrary and then we (I with my friend that map the Eprom) did it.
I brought the corvette to the mechanic to put in phase and carburetion and seeing that the car had some problems took away the EPROM(do not ask me why, because I do not know) and when he has shed on the basis, rightly he puts it, looking the right way instead it had to be put on the contrary.....conclusion, both the EPROM, the Hypetech and that one we had mapped, are burned and also the original Eprom.

I have now bought back the empty EPROM (2732 and 27c32), but we don't have more the parameters to remap these EPROM. Please someone can help me?
I would like to know if someone have the original parameters and the parameters for some more hp, more performance.
Sorry for my English, I hope to be able to explain well.
Thank you for your available and patience
Regards
Tullio Candidori

If you're wanting better performance start by changing the rear end ratio to 3.73's and install a Renegade intake manifold along with an '85 fuel pump. The air/fuel mixture can be improved with a HyperTech PROM but only slightly; the main gain from the PROM is the elimination of the 3rd gear torque converter lockup.

Thank you for your advice....I was wondering if anyone had the parameters to remap the EPROM, without buying a EPROM already mapped...

What software are you using to load edit your parameters? I have a tune for my 82 that you could use as a starting point. You will need TunerPro 5 to read it, and my engine is very different from yours.

Hi
we use an European sofware (Winols)we have already tuned the EPROM(2732 and 27c32), but aren't good, because we don't know the parameters and grafic what they refer,ex: the air-fuel mix is never correct or too fat or too thin and not eliminate of the 3rd gear torque converter lockup.
Thanks you for yor reply

Hi Tullio. I can't promise I'll be much help, but I'll contribute what I can.

I'm trying to understand if you need both the PROM contents, and the "engineering notes/units" that describe what each address contains, or just one of those items.

I don't know how much similarity there is between the '82 and '84 software, as all my experience is on the '84 system. I recalibrated my '84 (about 20 years ago after putting a turbo 355 in the car) using an adapter/mezzanine board plugged into the original PROM socket, and some 2716 EPROMs. IIRC, the original ('84) PROM was an 8k part, and I added a switch on the board to select the upper or lower 8k range of the EPROM so I could compare the two different calibrations.

I'm also a bit unclear on what mods you've done to the engine that prevent you from running the stock PROM calibration.

Just trying to understand what you've got there, and also trying not to waste any of your money or either of ours time doing unproductive activities.

Hi
I also (my friend programmer) using an adapter board plugged into the original PROM socket, but with the 2732or 27c32 Eproms and I also and I added a switch on the board to select four different calibrations.but the calibrations that we did, not work well( the mix air/fuel or the elimination of the 3rd gear torque converter lockup as to hypertech eprom) for the simple reason that we dont have the parameters, and then we do the calibration with insight and obviously does not work well. I also add, that we have some calibrated eproms, also includes the original and the Hypertech that are burned, because we realized that the Ecm socket is at contrary(don't ask me why.... I do not know ....)over time I forgot about this thing ... epilogue, I burned all eproms.
I think that the main problem that I have to calibrate the EPROM, is that we dont have the parameters to which we must refer.I would like to have to the EPROM, one original calibration and some with performance.
We have programmed the EPROM with a European program: WinOLS but it does not have the parameters for the 1982 Corvette.
I hope to be able to explain well....sorry for my english.
regards
Tullio
