Default Manually retract a power antenna?

Hi All,

I just installed a Dakota digital hidden antenna. The new antenna works great but I want to lower the factory power antenna that has a blown motor. One day down the road I'll pull it out completely and glass over the hole but until then I just want to retract the thing and get it out of the way. I tried pushing it down but I can only get it to retract half way.

Thanks,
Sam

without dis-assembly you aren't going to get that mast to retract

Yep, that's what I found out. I tried to do it without removing the antenna but ended up pulling it off, opening the housing and cutting the cable.
