Starting Troubles.
I'm having a strange no spark problem. I replaced the entire wiring harness and the distrubutor is getting plenty of power. I replaced the coil and the ignition module. This is an HEI distributor. It starts some times and not others. Fuel is not a problem, it's just the spark. Sometimes she sparks and sometimes she won't. None of the wires look burned in the distibutor and the coil and module are new like i said. Any ideas on where to look for this problem?

Check to see that there is voltage to the coil WHILE CRANKING. Most accessory wires have 12 volts in the run and acc positions, but not while the key is turned to the crank position.

yeah i've got juice while cranking. That's not it. I'm thinking maybe it's the cap or the wires in the distributor going bad. It may even be the cheap replacement module I bought at an auto parts store. Who knows.
