hi , were all k 66 boxes the same ??
or did the hi po cars have a hotter spark box , than there lower performance cousins ??

No, there are early and late ones. Difference is appearance and how the wires attach to them. The box itself is just a switching device and has no bearing on spark energy.

That's the same type that's on my '70. Every few years I need to clean the contacts at that plug. Intermittent "hitches" in the ignition is the indication.

Hmm, interesting, that part# should have the integrated pigtail. I wonder if it was rebuilt at some point in its life with early 1115005 parts? I believe the change to the integrated pigtail happened in 68 along with the part # change but this is GM were talking about here so what they say happened and what actually happened may be two different things.
