You didn't use the word "RARE" in your ad....Adding the word "RARE" will increase your chances... :jester

Re: My vette is on ebay :( (joe-red78)
Do yall think Im asking too much? Im taking about a $10,000 loss minimum as it is. Would I be better off parting it out? I hate to do that considering all the time Ive spent on putting it together. Please any advice is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Joe

I hate seeing people having to sell thier car after spending so much money and not really having a chance to enjoy it themselves :(
Best of luck.

Re: My vette is on ebay :( (joe-red78)
Joe,
Please dont part it out! Im sure you can get 15 easy for it, especially on ebay. Bidders on ebay like good pictures. Most bidders arent very car educated, so the better it looks (the pictures) the more bids you'll get.

Hey joe-red78
I agree, you really need better pics. Beg or borrow a digital camera and take a ton of pics, then only use the 12 or 14 best. You are losing a lot of interest by not having pics in the ad and second by not having top quality pics on the web page.
Make sure you get the lighting right. Evenings are a good time, keep the sun behind you, and keep your shadow out of the pics. Watch the background, no trees growing out of the passenger seat or UFO hovering around the T-tops.
Show the shine and all the hard work you have into this one.
Good luck with the auction.

Joe,I'm a super-poor college kid but I wanted to bump the post and say that this is the kind of vette I want to get when I have money :). I'm sorry to say that you might be losing bids because you're so honest in the ad. A lot of people are scared off when someone says a car needs work. Best of Luck.

Re: My vette is on ebay :( (joe-red78)
NO RESERVE!! Is that wise?? What if the bidding only gets to $10 grand. You will be forced to sell it that low, won't you??
