Default help with birdcage measurement

Could someone go to their 1968-1972 convertible (or even later years I don't think that changed but who knows…or coupes, I just know on the convertible you can see the top of those when you open up the back) and measure the dimension for the two rear birdcage post for me? (See red arrow on following pic)
I had taken the measurement but I can't find it anywhere (tisk tisk )

Thanks in advance

I've had mine apart so I'd like to hear what others measure. After assembly I measure 49 3/4" inside top edges between B pillars. Hope that helps.

yes thank you!
hopefully others can chime in to verify…I no longer have the plate going across it. I would assume the measurement should be very close from one car to another if that portion was not removed or messed with.

I get 49 3/4" on my 68 Convertible as well. Body never off frame.

Yep, since I'm working on this no brake issues I popped the deck lid and inside dimension is 49 3/4". This is too a non body off car. My son double checked it.
