Shift Light Tach
HI ,I was thinking of getting a tach with the shift light built in.I have a regular aftermarket tach in now.I have HEI Dist.Was wondering if there are any extra wires to hook up compared to the one I have in now.Think it is 4 wires.Thanks. >STW< Frank :flag

I had an Autometer shift light tach. It used 4 wires. 1-ignition power, 2-tach signal, 3-dash lights, & 4-ground. Watch out for the cheaper Autoguage brand of Autometer, I had to send the tach back twice for repair!

At night...at my age....with my one good eye failing....I don't need no stinkin tach....I have the light with pill only with no cover on it...when it flashes...I shift. :D :seeya Cappy
