At 45-50 MPH the TCC "should" be locked up. Maintain a steady light pressure on the throttle and touch the brake just enough the brake lights come on. You should feel the slight bump when the TCC unlocks and see the RPM slightly increase.

Okay.I had a day to test it. I did not see any change. I can feel the lockup go in. It feels like a fourth shift. When driving the car, how do you know when it disengages on its own? I am just wondering if it's related to my surging issue between 40 and 50 MPH.
