Default 700R4 install

I will post all my photos when I'm done. I have installed my stroker with the 700R4 and everything fits perfect. Drive shaft was shortened 3" and the parking brake cable pulley was moved 3/4" to the left. It's all in an looks factory. I have the shifter detent kit to install.

My question here is what to do with the shift cable mount bracket as it doesn't match up to the pan bolts?

Do I just need to cut the bracket and weld in a lengthened piece?

Or can I use a bracket from the C4 or maybe 4th gen Camaro?

Or does the 82 Corvette have the bracket I need?

I just modified my TH400 bracket but an '82 bracket would certainly work.

I'm feeling dumb...never opened the kit. Lol! I have the bracket.

Thanks for the help. What's the old saying; couldn't see the trees for the forest.

Thank you all. My head is out in the open now and yes I do have the bracket in my kit.

Thanks to past information on the forum my 700 install went together and looks like factory. I will post photos of my entire build as soon as its done. Couple more weeks.
Also thanks to a member for supplying the modified "tung mout" as I call it.
Information here took a lot if guess work out. Very straight forward.

Times 2. I went through two cables that broke pretty quick, shift works seeks a cable also that's been going strong for two years.
