Don't bother with those, just have your Qjet rebuilt by someone who knows what they're doing and you'll have a much better performing carb that the three you've mentioned.
have a holley 4010-1 on there now . had it running great twice this year and both times its flooded out in 2 to 3 weeks then runs good again . been playing with this for a few weeks the more I read about them the more I get confused . I live in the country so I jump on it quite a bit . don't care about a few miles per gallon don't drive it that much . its a pretty built strong engine but I have been playing with carbs since I had it . had vac 600 , 650 , and a 750 double pumper ( the 750 rocked at top end with the 308 I had back 20 years ago almost pegged the speedo and it felt like it still had more , but stunk at lower speeds ) and back to a 600 for the last twenty years . have run it more this year then in the last 10 just don't trust the carb and if its going to cost a few hundred to rebuild it id rather buy a new.whats the least amount of vacuum lines you can get away with on the carb . I have something connected to every one on my holley plus one to the intake now

If it keep flooding it's possible you have dirt in your gas getting stuck in the needle and seat. This is what will usually cause a holley to flood. I would find the source of that problem before spending any $$$. Good Luck!
I had issues with my QuickFuel filling the bowl. It was from crap getting into the needle/seat.
Turned out that my POS Mr. Gasket fuel filter was SHEDDING PLATING on the INSIDE of the filter casing DOWNSTREAM of the filter itself. One little scrap of this plating would get behind the secondary needle. I floor it, the bowl starts to fill, and the plating would prevent the needle from seating, flooding the secondary side. Very irritating problem to diagnose.
The best solution for all is to get a good quality billet micron fuel filter and place it after everything. I've had absolutely no issues since installation of mine.
I learned the hard war that all those fancey fuel filters usually will not filter as wel as a $6 clear plastic filter with a paper element... thats what I use now after pulling my carb apart a half a dozen times ti clean..
BTW I went with the avenger 670 from an edelbrock /carter 600 and after rejetting and changing to a bigger booster spray jet (cant remember the name) it runs great now.... I had to go about 4-6 sizes up in both primary and secondary jet sizes for my 355 build though... the avengers are emissions carbs and set up very lean and I had a bad bog in acceleration.(Yes I changed vacuum springs and the booster jet first)
I do like that I can let it idle without burning my eyes from being to rich though...

Funny thing is that I don't necessarily disagree.
My engine builder actually had a recent experience where the cheap plastic used in the cheap plastic fuel filter actually SOFTENED and started leaking. It was pre-pump, so he just figured the fuel filter disagreed with the gasoline. You never know what you get with this cheap Chinese crap anymore.
My fuel system is clean, I run Sta-Bil 360 to protect my tank, and the only junk I EVER had in my carb came from the old fuel filter itself.
So we decided to go with this setup. It is legit. Hopefully it won't cause any issues. I added a fuel cutoff to my tank during my rear end restoration, so I'll just backwash the filter during other maintenance procedures.
ok it has sat for a couple days . I have a 10 micron clear tube filter in front of the carb . couldn't see anything it but took it apart and there still wasn't anything in it . today started it up . had it sitting there idling and revved it a bunch of times until it reached heat . then let it sit some more . opened check level screws and the fuel was right where it should be . the only thing I did was let it set .now its ok but in a week or so it probably do the same thing .
received the new carb in two days . went out to hook it up and other then the air cleaner and throttle nothing fit . ended up ordering another $200 in stuff . new fuel line had to get throttle return mount and springs , almost replace all vacuum lines the ones I had on the holley ended up a few inches short , plus I ordered a fuel pressure gauge . my old carb that was giving me problems without doing anything to it has been running great . anyone want to buy a holley 4010-1.
