Alternator question
Hi
I have a stock 75 with AC & auto trans.
I put in a new alternator, stock one.
The plug connection red wire broke off the other day & I drove it
for awhile and the car ran good.
Since then I replaced the plug and reconnected the wires.
Silly question:
What does these plug wires do exactly?
The reason I'am asking is the car did run with the red one off
