Put my hood on yesterday and noticed that its rubbing on the passenger side fender.and have a larger gap on the drivers side. I noticed that the hinges do not have oval holes for the body bolt on or on the hood bolt on as to adjust side to side. The hood was not a Perfect fit before the frame off but it was definitely a better fit than this!! The top and bottom line up very well, It's just the side to side that's giving me a hard time..Has anyone gone through this???.. Thanks in advance !!!!
The hood hinges have 3/4" square holes for the sole purpose of adjusting the hood. Loosen the 4 bolts and play around with it until you get it right. Once you get it right use a sharp scribe to mark around the hinges so you can correctly adjust the hood the next time.

These are my hinges and there is no square holes or oval holes either. That to me is odd because in my mind I think Elongated bolt holes would fix the issue. I looked at other pictures of hinges and no square holes either!!
On my 73, either the hole is larger or the bolt shaft is smaller to allow
a small adjustment left to right. Mine do not have slots just holes and
that is how I adjusted mine. It doesn't take but a very small
amount of movement to adjust the space at the top of the hood.

The C3 doesn't have square holes, and is a little different than the "regular" cars that TBTR is talking about. If you have had it all apart, it can get off. First off I would watch out for closing the hood, because if the latch alignment is too far off, you may have trouble opening it. You can loosen the hinge bolts and get some adjustment - plus rubber blocks in the channel under the hood could be missing or needed.

The rubber blocks are missing but I just don't see how they would correct. I will most likely get them to raise and level the hood .

I own a '68, a '71, and an '82 and they all have square holes in their hood hinges.

I have no way of knowing what you have on your car or cars. But I do believe a 68 Impala, a 71 C10 and a 82 Camaro do have elongated or slotted holes for mounting the hood.
Here is what mine looks like. What I consider to be square would have corners, and not look like a zero or a doughnut hole.
Here are a couple. http://www.ebay.com/itm/1968-69-70-7...-/111722965900

Not knowing what you have or not have. I mentioned it because if you had a block on one side, and were missing one on the other - it could cause the hood to push to one side.
I have the same greenwood hood on my 74 and the exact same fitment issues with the gap on the same side as yours.... I too only have one block on one side.
to make matters worse I broke 2 of the mounting bolts already while trying to loosen them to adjust it..
