Goodyear tires?
Anyone use goodyear tires. I found these 255 60 sr15 for the same price as the Bf Goodrench Radial TA. Goodyear Eagel GT II.

We have the 225-70R15 size of Eagle GT IIs on our '78. I bought them mainly for their 'all season' capability, since the '78 was purchased as a 'driver' and we used it as a second car during a couple of winters. The tires are great in snow (even deep snow), but suspect they may not be as good handling on dry pavement as some other possible choices.

I use Eagle RSA's in the stock size (225/70R15) on mine. I will probably go to a 16 inch rim and a really sticky tire at that time, but the ones I have now work great. They have a high wear rate (i.e. soft compound), but not to bad.

I really like my GT II's. It was actually one of the first things I bought for my car when I got it. They have excellent gripping as sometimes I take 'the long way home' and go thru some winding back roads...they hold very nicely. I have never had BFG's though to compare. Price was right for me as well because we have a local Goodyear direct shop in town.
