No idle when warm 454cui
Hello! I have this problem with my beloved 454 powered c3 76. Im not that super good on engines but im learning, english is not my native language since i am swedish. The thing is with my idle, when the engine is cold it is a steady idle but whenever it gets hot/normal temperature there is no/bad idle. I have to keep it alive at red lights by putting it in neutral and help with the throttle. You can clearly smell from the exhaust gases that the air/fuel ratio is way off when this happens, as if it is not letting in any air so the engine mostly just get fuel but no air. I have a Holly Pro-Jection 4Di electrical injection carb on it. My rookie mind tells me it could be the IAC unit/motor? If so, where does it sit on the engine?

Edit: i have read about the system and the only thing serving as a choke would seem to be the IAC motor
