Default SRIII Solid Axle frame for a C3 dragcar?

Anyone have any feedback on these frames? Apparently, I can get a 14" slick under it with body modifications in the back, it has the C5 front end and a bit more engine bay room for a centrifugal supercharger setup on a Gen1 SBC. I'll stick with the Hooker sidepipe setup. It's supposedly about 200 lbs lighter than the stock chassis.

Any thoughts about how well this would work for a 1/4 mile car?

I'm looking at using this for my '76 and running a 800-900 hp motor.

Any spring rate recommendations?

Any recommendations for wheels?

Any recommendations for a roll bar kit?

I don't have info on that specific frame BUT I would give an overall great review of SRIII. Mike, the owner, is a top notch fabricator and a nice guy to boot. His engineering skills are second to none.

I had him do a bunch of fabricating work when I did my LS conversion. Back when I did it there were no kits or parts you could buy, Mike did it all.

The shop is always busy which is a good sign, I would not hesitate to recommend him.

Happy Motoring,
Frank

So no one has used one of these frames? I'm particularly interested in the experience with the engine bay room...
