69 early coupe. This is the wiring harness from the fuse box to behind the dash tach/ speedo through radio and shifter. The area in asking about is somewhat centered behind the tach / speedo gauges. The wire in question is whit and orange. I know this plugs into a switch on or around the brake pedal. My question is this. Can you see the suppressor someone put in line? It's spliced into the orange and white wire. Can anybody guess why it's there? Can I remove it ?
I have a 70 vette harness that doesn't have it.
Orange and White go to the brake switch. PO was getting a click in the radio whenever he hit the brakes. Leave it or take it out-no difference except you might get the radio noise.
