Front brakes lockup easily
So I have this '75 that was in storage for 22 years.
Anyway, both front calipers were blown and leaking. I changed the master, the front calipers, and bled all 4.
Mind you i've never driven the car..
In my long driveway, if I get it rolling 5+ mph and hit the brakes hard the front lock up and leave 3-4 feet of rubber.
Now, I'm assuming this simply means the rear are weak and I should replace those calipers too.
Or do these cars have an absurd bias to the front?

Disregard.. I just looked at a picture on autozone of the calipers and realized there is TWO bleeders on the rear.
Holy crap! How I didn't notice that on the car..

Most of the braking effort on C3s is at the front. The rears contribute, but the majority of the whoa is up front.

The proportioning valve is stuck. Try moving the rear Pistons back in the calipers and then slowly press the brake pedal to bleed the rear.

Bleed the inners first then the outters.
