Thanks much for the advice!

If you would be interested in learning how to align it yourself I'll be glad to teach you. All you need is a simple Harbor Freight angle protractor, a piece of 1/8" X 1" steel with two holes and two 90 degree angles bent into it, and some blocks of wood to hold your front end at the same height as it normally sits. I have taught a dozen people how to do it over the years and I'll be glad to teach you.

You are very kind. We would love to learn but im afraid itll take us forever. Will it? We just got it on the ground after 10 weeks in the air. Man that rebuild took forever. As far as i can tell i have the camber set pretty well. Its the toe i am uncertain about and it may stand a bit toe out.
Let me know how long it takes and if we can get her done in a weekend we'd be most appreciative!
Cheers

You're wanting a rear end alignment or a front end alignment? I can teach you how to do either but you'll need different home-made tools to do it. If you put the original trailing arm shims back in the same locations you wouldn't need to align it. To align rear ends I use two 8 foot lengths of 1/4" X 1-1/4" aluminum flat bar but steel flat bar will easily do. Oh yeah, and a tape measure.
Let me know and we'll get started.

Rear end alignment is what we need. I did put shims back as they were but they are new shims. The old shims were really rusted. I used the same number of shims as original. So maybe it will not need alignment?
